Difference Makers Global Community is thrilled to announce our upcoming Adventure for Charity – the Virginia Triple Crown. As a supportive and encouraging group, adventurers will face rugged terrain and rigorous climbs as they run/hike 23 miles through Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Our route takes them past three of the most spectacular vistas on the Appalachian Trail: Dragon’s Tooth, McAfee Knob, and Tinker Cliffs. To make a difference for those in need, each adventurer will use the Triple Crown adventure to raise funds and awareness for a charity near and dear to their heart.
Description: A 23-mile run/hike through Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains
Difficulty: 8 – Very challenging; requires exceptional strength and stamina
Dates: April 2024 – the adventure takes place on TBD (rain or shine)
Price: $200 (per person)
Price includes:
- Fundraising strategy and resources
- Difference Makers short sleeve t-shirt
- Triple Crown short sleeve t-shirt and memento
- Food, drinks, first aid supplies along the route
- Adventure video (8-10 minutes in length)
- Meals: 1 group dinner at local restaurant
- Transportation to/from trail parking lots
Not included: Transportation to VA, lodging, insurance, equipment, alcoholic beverages, gratuities
Note: The Virginia Triple Crown is limited to 15 adventurers. To secure a spot, submit a deposit of $100 to Difference Makers Global Community, LLC by December 31st. Payment in full is due by March 1st.
